First: Modern fighter jets, which Taiwan has and the USA will have in the area immediately can down dozens if not hundreds of these per hour simply by targeting them with AA missiles (like AMRAAM) from 100 miles away. No. The Mig-19 platform cannot pose for something else or confuse modern radar. No. The Mig-19 platform is not fast enough to penetrate Taiwan airspace. No. The Mig-19, that doesn't even have a radar is not capable of ground attacks. Air attacks are entirely out of the question. So the "possible" ordnance shown in the video is not at all usable.

If China attack Taiwan, Taiwan has a capability to attack infrastructure of China. Like their dams, airport's seaports near at Taiwan. Taiwan has a long-range Messile system. Like duhh

What countries like China and Russia need to absorb through their heads, is the number of countries in the West/Europe, and Southeast Asia, and other parts of the world, who’ve had long-standing alliances, as well as new alliances, all for the purpose of banding together against aggressors trying to take over someone else’s country. Taking Taiwan, relatively intact, is 1 million-to-one scenario, and I don’t think the invasion will take place. Diplomacy of some kind at some point will overall military recklessness. I could be wrong, of course. Plenty of countries throughout history have done stupid things behind men with reckless ambitions. And in many of those cases have driven their countries to regret and ruin.

Sorry I have to be critic of this. Converting old jets into drones is not so cheap as it is claimed in this vid. First, if they are destroyed, you have to build them again. And that is extremely costly with today's prices (without counting the time/expenses cost of reconvertion). It is cheaper to send fake missiles from ships or big aircraft like the naval tupolev 142. Way more cheaper and more effective. Also, the radar saturation using civilian aircraft is not genious, is old as my grandma. In Malvinas war 1982 Argentina used their national airline to flight soutatlantic and saturate british seawolf and seadart AA naval systems. It works.. british lost two of the 3 most important ship of the fleet with this tactic. But regarding modern airdefense systems, especially the long range ones (S300, Patrios, and all the +100km range) are impossible to destroy with this tactics. And this is clearly demostrated in the Ukraine war. Airspace saturation and radioelectromagnetic war is underestimated and way more importante than digital AI drones systems. Drones could be deadle in closed combat, yes. But long range war is a war of radiation systems.. not digital.
